GenAI 360 (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website (genai360.ch) and participate in our events.

By using our website or attending our events, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following personal data:

1.1 Website Visitors

  • Contact Information: Name and email address (if voluntarily provided through forms).

  • Analytics Data: Browsing behavior, IP address, and interactions with our website (collected via Google Analytics).

  • Cookies & Tracking Technologies: We use cookies to analyse website traffic. These are only set after you accept them — see section 5.

  • Course Applications: If you apply to one of our programmes, we store the answers you submit, together with your name and email address, so that we can review your application and reply to you.

  • Anti-spam: Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes your IP address and basic browser signals to distinguish real visitors from automated submissions. It does not profile you or track you across sites.

1.2 Event Attendees

  • Event Registration Data: Name, email address, company, job title, and industry (if provided).

  • Social Media Information: If you register via LinkedIn, your data may also be subject to LinkedIn’s privacy policies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • Website Visitors:

    • To improve user experience and website functionality.

    • To analyze traffic and optimize content.

    • To send marketing emails (if consent is given).

  • Event Attendees:

    • To manage registrations and event participation.

    • To send event updates, logistical details, and follow-ups.

    • To share information about future GenAI 360 events.

    • To allow organizers or speakers to contact attendees post-event.

3. Sharing Your Information with Third Parties

We may share your data with the following third-party services:

  • Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager – to understand website interactions and traffic. Only loaded if you accept analytics cookies.

  • Kit (formerly ConvertKit) – to manage newsletter subscriptions and email campaigns.

  • Cloudflare – hosts this website and provides the Turnstile anti-spam check. Cloudflare processes your IP address as part of serving and protecting the site, and stores course applications on our behalf.

  • SMTP2GO – delivers the emails our forms generate (your message to us, and our confirmation to you).

  • Luma – handles registration for our networking events. The registration card on our events page is loaded directly from Luma, so opening that page contacts Luma and lets them set their own cookies, whether or not you go on to register. If you do register, Luma processes the details you enter.

  • LinkedIn – if you register for events through LinkedIn, your data will be processed according to LinkedIn’s privacy policy.

These third-party providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage users to review these policies to understand how their data is handled by these providers.

We process personal data based on:

  • Consent: When you provide your information through forms or event registrations.

  • Legitimate Interest: To improve website functionality, organize events, and communicate with attendees.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies to collect analytics data about how visitors interact with the site.

Analytics cookies are not set until you accept them. When you first visit, a consent banner asks for your choice, and Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are only loaded if you accept. If you decline, no analytics cookies are stored.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the site footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

One page can also carry a cookie we do not control. When an event is open for registration, our events page embeds the registration card from Luma, the service we use to run event sign-ups. The card is loaded from Luma when the page opens, and Luma sets an identifier of its own that lasts about four months. It is not an analytics cookie and it is not covered by the banner above, so we say it here instead: while the card is showing, visiting genai360.ch/genai-networking-events/ means Luma sees that visit. Between events the card is not there and the page loads nothing from Luma. If you would rather Luma did not see the visit, block third-party cookies for luma.com in your browser, or skip that page — every other page on this site loads from us alone. What Luma does with the data is covered by their privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

  • Website Visitors: We retain analytics data for a period in line with Google Analytics’ default settings.

  • Event Attendees: Personal data is retained for three (3) years from the event date, after which it will be securely deleted unless you opt to receive further communications.

  • Course Applications: Application answers are retained for two (2) years from the date you apply, so that we can consider you for future cohorts, after which they are deleted.

  • Newsletter Subscribers: We keep your first name and email address until you unsubscribe. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

  • Contact Messages: Messages sent through the contact form are kept in our email inbox for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up.

7. Your Rights

As a Swiss or EU-based user, you have the right to:

  • Access – Request a copy of the personal data we hold.

  • Rectification – Request corrections to any inaccurate information.

  • Erasure – Request deletion of your personal data.

  • Objection – Withdraw consent or object to how we process your data.

8. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

9. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on genai360.ch.
